Home Remedies is operated by a fantastic group of like minded individuals interested in how to improve healthy living through natural and herbal cures. We started our project as simply the exercise of listing some natural cures for common health and beauty problems just so we can put our knowledge in one place and keep it better organized. The surprise was to discover after a while just how popular we're getting and that people really enjoy reading what we have to say. Since then, we have expanded from natural and herbal cures to covering topics of fitness, weight loss, super foods, and homemade activities (like small DIY projects for cosmetics and so on). Our team strives to bring you the best and most effective home remedies to date, together with advice on handling various health and beauty related problems.
Also, we try to stay away from any health-related information that is dubious or unfounded from a medical point of view. You will notice that where studies just show a connection between a remedy and some relief, we say “this remedy MAY reduce the problem” instead of using certainties. We have a firm policy of being medically sound and as accurate as possible, because we know that many natural remedy sources of information can be a bit misleading, even if well-intended. It is our intention to bring you the best of both worlds and not advocate something which your doctor would completely disagree with, within reasonable limits. This way, we hope to contribute to a better knowledge of our own bodies and of the wonderful opportunities which nature has to offer us, and to help build a stronger health culture as well. The more all of us become more aware of our bodies and start caring for them more, the better it is for everyone, from society as a whole to nature itself and back.
