27 Home Remedies for Treating Rashes

A bad rash alters the natural color and texture of a person’s skin in splotches, spots, patches and more.

Rashes come in all shades and vary in their intensity. Some forms involve the formation of small red sores on the skin, while others result in cystic outbreaks. Although some rashes can be painful and itchy, not all are. The exact conditions rashes bring about are largely dependent on their causes.

Fungal rashes like ringworms create discolored rings on your skin roughly 14 days after you’ve been infected. Rashes brought about by food allergies tend to cover larger portions of the body such as the back, face and arms. Rashes can even happen due to stress, anxiety and mere friction, leaving individuals with lasting nuisances over such fleeting occurrences.

Treating a rash need not necessarily warrant a visit to a doctor’s office. Many conditions can be cleared up with simple home remedies instead.
